[Resolved] Removing 'blog box' from website

  • I’m a newbie to WordPress. Using wordpress to create and manage a website for a charity. I have got the website up on the net displaying ‘static’ pages (Twenty Eleven theme). Each page still features a ‘blog box’. Is it possible to remove this? I like the clean look of the theme for my website- is the Twenty Eleven theme only for bogs or can I keep this for a website?

    Please could somebody advise me?

are you referring to the comment/reply section?

you can disable the comment form from dashboard -> settings -> discussion; and also individual for each page under dashboard -> pages and click : quick-edit below the page title in the list; or below the page editor in dashboard -> pages -> edit page; this area might need to be enabled first by going to ‘screen options’ near the top right, and ticking the ‘discussion’ box.

Thank you. Spot on! I followed this and it worked!
