# Removing Archives?

 * Hey guys,
 * I love using wordpress as a CMS backend to my websites. The only problem is that
   it creates archives of posts which in reality aren’t posts rather web pages on
   my websites.
 * Now is there anyway to get rid of these archives? I would love not to be able
   to visit /2008/01/ or categories and view parts of my website.
