  • Thanks to the effort from WordPress to make the screen less cluttering, most users now miss this. The option to opt out from AddThis widget from selected posts is available with the plugin, but the switch is hidden by default. Please see the following article: http://support.addthis.com/customer/portal/articles/125513-removing-addthis-from-certain-pages#.UZtD7StgaZ8

For each post/page, you can set whether to show AddThis share buttons or not. Let me know if it worked for you!

Hi although that’s very useful thanks 🙂 my content block plugin does not show this option unfortunately.

On normal pages I can untick Addthis and remove it so thats good thanks.

I haven’t checked it with Content Block plugin, but it should be possible. I will try. You can also talk with the Content Block plugin developer to see if there is a chance to show the option.

Very kind. I have left a message with them also. Would be great if it works out in the same way it does with regular pages.

I ended up putting the addthis in the loop but for most wordpress users a more simple solution would be great.
