Hey there.
Looks like the border is gone now?
As for the font size, I see in the theme that right at the top of the main CSS is this:
.entry-title, .page-title {
font-size: 5em;
font-weight: 600;
margin: 0;
}
I don’t see that in the original so I think this might be your edit?
5em is huge! 🙂
If so then the reason it isn’t working is because with CSS the last item called rules all. It’s a little like the Highlander film (if you’ve seen it), the last one standing rules them all. 🙂
Now, some of them can cheat as well, if you added !important that would take it out of the natural order and would look like this:
.entry-title, .page-title {
font-size: 5em !important;
font-weight: 600 !important;
margin: 0 !important;
}
But I don’t recommend that, !important should be the last tool in your toolbox that you use. Instead you should call the CSS later in the sequence when possible (without hacking the code), it’s what Child Themes are for and if you don’t have one you should consider one:

You can instead use a plugin like this:

http://wordpress.org/plugins/my-custom-css/screenshots/
http://wordpress.org/plugins/pc-custom-css/

If you wanted to change the font within the post you could get specific and target the P tag with something like this:
.entry-content p {font-size: 1.2em}
I hope you find this useful 🙂
Have an awesome weekend! 🙂
