# remove/edit forum post

 * Hi,
    I recently posted in the forum about a site I am building. However, I did
   not realize that I could not later edit the post to remove the site URL. Can 
   I have it edited to remove the URLs? [This is the post](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/paginationchild-pages-404?replies=1#post-3409066).

 * The edit button is only available for an hour after you make the post. After 
   that, the mods generally won’t remove links unless you can persuade them you 
   have a very good reason.
