• Hoping someone can help. I removed a Joomla install and replaced it with WordPress via Cpanel Softaculous. The problem is I get the error on home page of
    Index of /
    cgi-bin/
    wp/
which means something has gone wrong. Something to do with index.php (which does appear but not connecting right place?) Obviously my home page is not showing properly.
What are the detailed steps I can do to rectify as I am a novice at this?
Or what are the steps to delete the whole thing (and any mysterious remnant of Joomla) and start again?
    thanks

You need to get support from your hosting company.

    Hi,

I am from the Softaculous team.
It seems that you have installed WordPress in the Sub-directory.
Please remove the current WordPress installation and then go to install form again and leave the “In Directory” blank and then click on install then you should be able to access WordPress on your homepage.
