    Hi,

Your plugin rocks however after i’ve installed it and messed with htaccess functions the add plugin / remove plugin buttoms seem to be gone.

And when i try to delete your plugin the proper way via the extra function in the plugins area it says you don’t have permission to do this.

Can you please help me out? If needed i can pay you!

    Cheer,
    Jim

You can manually remove/delete the BPS plugin and BPS htaccess files by doing these steps.

    1. Use FTP or your web host control panel file manager and delete the /bulletproof-security/ plugin folder.
    2. Delete the root htaccess file (in the same folder as the wp-config.php file) and the wp-admin folder htaccess file.

If your website is a Network/Multisite site and you click the Uninstall Options link on the WordPress Plugins page in an individual site you will see this standard WordPress error message: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. We are aware of this issue/problem and will have this fixed in the next BPS plugin version.

Is the issue/problem still occurring or is it resolved? Regarding the Network/Multisite “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” error message, this has been fixed in BPS .53.8.

    Hello,

I’m sorry i was not able to respond faster.

The problem is not resolved. Maybe you want to take a look if it’s possible?

If you send me your emailadress i can send you the login details/ftp from my website?

It’s really strange because i can’t install/delete plugins anymore from the backend + in the backend there is a message; You don’t have enough permission to…..

It would be awesome if you could help with this. I am even willing to pay for it.

The meta tags from the home page did also change after installing this plugin.

Now the meta tag + title tag in google is:

Hight Rate Pass Certification Dumps | |ITExamup
Any charges made through this site will appear as Global Simulators Limited. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

These have nothing to do with our website since our website is in dutch language.

    Best regards,
    Jimmy Cataldo

Unfortunately we do not offer to login to anyone’s site unless the issue/problem is on a global problem scale instead of individual site scale. From your description of the problem it sounds like either WordPress itself is damaged and needs to be reinstalled or your website may be hacked if you are seeing google search results with unusual meta tags. Try scanning your website with the Sucuri SiteCheck Scanner (Note: scanners are not capable of finding all hacker code and files, but will typically find all of the obvious hacker files and or code): https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/

Yep, your website is hacked. I found several other sites with a fake paypal buy form on them and the text used was exactly the text you posted above.

To clean up a website that is already hacked see this forum topic: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/wordpress-hacked-wordpress-hack-cleanup-wordpress-hack-repair/ Note: Installing BPS after your website is already hacked may offer some protection, but BPS does not automatically clean up hacked websites. You can try to install some other plugins that claim to be able to do that, but from what folks tell us and what we know about using scanners is that scanners will never find hidden and/or backdoor hacker files or code. So it is best to manually cleanup your website and entire hosting account.

    Hmm… that sounds bad.

I don’t have the knowledge to do that so i must find someone who can do this for me.

Can you also not take a look if it’s caused by your plugin if i pay you? ‘

Because it happened right after i installed your plugin so thats why i’m asking?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer any other services like website hack cleanup or anything else besides BPS and BPS Pro plugin development and support. Sorry. Well probably your site has been hacked for a long time and you are just now aware that it is hacked. It sucks, but there is only one direction to go in > backup everything > nuke everything > reinstall everything. Sucuri.net offers website hack cleanup at a very reasonable cost. So if want someone else to handle this then contact them.
