• Hello! First off, thank you for a great plugin. I’m rather new to it, so I’m hoping I have a simple question (hoping…).

I need to remove the “You are logged in as…” message which automatically appears with the [ms-membership-login] shortcode. I am working on a very simple site that uses the shortcode in the top menu bar to create a logout button that appears globally once a user logs in. The functionality works perfectly, but I cannot have that message appear as it’s causing display issues. It’s fine to appear on the account page.

Sadly, my first line of defense was just to hide it via CSS, but I cannot find a way to do so since the text itself is not wrapped in any type of block element, like a span or p tag.

Many thanks to anyone who may have any insight on this. Sadly, the site I’m working on is regulated so I cannot provide a link or login info at this time.

Hello Jen, I trust you are well today!

This will require some PHP code to hide the text. Unfortunately, I’m not an expert. I can suggest to use the Loco Translate plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/

With this plugin you can replace “You are logged in as” with something else. Try to replace it with just a space character. It should work!

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Nastia
