Remove Yoast post-sitemap.xml

    I was using the sitemap in the Yoast WP SEO plugin but decided against it and unchecked the XML Sitemap. I find that the sitemaps are still there but when I got to my root directory via FTP cannot find them.

    mysite.com/post-sitemap.xml
    mysite.com/sitemap_index.xml
    mysite.com/page-sitemap.xml

    All I would like to do is delete the above sitemaps. Does anyone know where they are and how to do this?
