Hi. I’ve only just started using Clearfy, and so far I like what I see.

However, I’ve turned on the option “Removing XFN (XHTML Friends Network) Profile Link” to remove the head tag <link href=”http://gmpg.org/xfn/11&#8243; rel=”profile” /> and saved the options. Upon forcing a refresh of my site in another browser the tag is still visible. You can see for yourself on the main page of my site (https://paulligas.com) by using the developer console.

Is this something that needs extra steps on my part to remove?

  • Hello @paulligasphotography

I checked your website and I see <link href=”http://gmpg.org/xfn/11″ rel=”profile” /> present at all browsers.
Also I checked this feature on my test website and it works fine at all browsers.

Did you flushed your cache before you check the code?

Oh, we understand the reason. It’s slash at the end of the string. We’ll fix it with the next update.

    Thanks for your issue!

Thanks for the quick response. I’ll look forward to the new version.
