# Remove WordPress Testemonials menu item

 * Hello. Is there a way to remove the word press admin standard Testimonials menu
   item?
    Its getting really confusing up in here, and i just want one (the plugins)
   testimonials menu item.
 * Alternatively is there a way to change this plugins menu item name from Testimonials
   to something else? Like quotes?

 * Hey Huzi!
 * If you are seeing a “standard” Testimonials menu item, likely that is coming 
   from your WordPress theme itself (I believe Elegant Themes includes their own
   concept of Testimonials, or at least did at one point, and presumably other Themes
   do as well.)
 * Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to hide that (from our plugin, at least.) We
   also don’t currently have a means of relabeling our menu item — although that
   isn’t a bad idea!
 * If you are comfortable with PHP, you can use the remove_menu_page function to
   remove the undesired menu item (more information here: [https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/remove_menu_page](https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/remove_menu_page))
