On mobile, I can’t remove the product from the wishlist. It gives the following JSON error:
The response is not a valid json response

    I tried re-installing, but that didn’t work.

I noticed that on the My Wishlist page on mobile, I don’t get to see the remove button.

    In the console i get a 400 https://www.hondenshop.nl/wp-json/yith/wishlist/v1/products/?_locale=user

    Hello there,
    thanks for contacting us!

I recommend running the following tests to see if the problem disappears at some point:

    • Update the plugin, WC, and WP to the latest version.
    • Switch to a default WP theme like 2025.
    • Leave only WC and our plugin active, and activate your plugins in batches until you find the one that conflicts.

    Let us know any news.

    Best regards.

    Hi Juan,

Sorry for getting back so late.

I’ve turned on troubleshooting mode and only left WooCommerce and your plugin on, while using the 2025 theme and I still get the error. It also happens on the product category/archive pages next to the single product page.

I have a staging site, which is an exact copy and somehow there it works as it should.

The only thing I can think of, is that I have the main domain name behind a Sucuri firewall and the subdomain is not.

    Hi,

It was Sucuri blocking the functionality of the plugin.

    Here’s what Sucuri said:
“This block occurs when the browser (due to site code) is using the TCP protocol in a way which is not intended. The best option would be to consult with your developer to understand what’s occurring and to avoid it.”

“I checked the firewall logs for today and the PTA158 error only occurs on a POST request to /wp-json/yith/wishlist/v1/items?_locale=user”
