Support » Fixing WordPress » Remove White Sidebar Space

  • Hey guys,

    I have this blog

    video-game-blog.net

And do you see that empty space on the right? I would like to remove it so only the content is showing and is nice and centered.

If I do this through theme options, it does this by removing the space then increasing the size of the side panels which I don’t like cause then the home page looks too narrow.

I would like the same width on the page now, just with the content filled all the way across.

    Thanks!

  • Hey.

After viewing your site, you seem to have resolved the sidebar issue yourself.

I’m having a little difficulty understanding your problem fully. Could you clarify… Do you want:

a.) To decrease the spacing between the text and the white area of your site.

    OR

b.) To increase the width of the white area of your site?

Hi – I have the Simplify theme and have removed all the code from sidebar.php, and after looking at multiple tutorials it seems I need to remove <? get sidebar code from page.php. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of this in my page.php

Any help would be appreciated… I’m trying to remove the white space to the right of all my pages (like this one: http://www.er-global.com/machining/) and extend the content all the way across.

    Thanks!

@mpergram – Hi. Please could you start your own topic, separate from this one. Preferably, using your theme’s support channel – http://wordpress.org/support/theme/simplify. Things can get confusing when more than one person starts posting different problems on one thread.
