I’ve been trying to sort this for two days and have scoured I think all forums with only partial luck. I hope someone can help me! I’ve never played around with CSS until Friday so it’s been a bit of trial and error.
I just purchased gridspace and have been busy tweaking it with many successes. The last (for now!) step is removing the white borders that show up all around my images whenever I write a caption for them. If I post an image without a caption, it does not have a border at all. Currently it looks like this:
So, after much trial and error, I found that if I put the following code into themes–>customize—>theme options–>editor:
background-color: #000 !important;
It will change the entire white padding/margin around the image to pure black, which is not perfect but I’ll take it. There is still a thin white line around the image.
If I add this code:
That will then remove the white border line from around the left, right, and bottom of the picture, but not the top for some reason.
That’s as far as I’ve gotten…
