Remove White Background Behind Content | WordPress.org

Hey All.

On my site http://www.logolimpet.co.uk I would like to remove the white colour behind the main body of the website so individual widgets can stand alone. I would also like the white background behind the logo removed too. How would I go about doing this?

Hey there HideTheGarlic,

How are you doing today?

I don’t see white background behind your logo, as for the content section please try adding the following CSS code in the style.css file of your child theme or if your theme doesn’t have custom CSS tab add it in your site using the following plugin:

http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css
```
div#main {
    background: none;
}
```
This should remove the white background. If the code doesn’t work please keep it added and let me know so I can take a look 🙂

Thanks for reaching out.

Try the following in a Custom CSS plugin:
```
/* Main Container */

#main {
    background: rgba(255,255,255,0);
}
```
If you don’t have a Custom CSS plugin installed, try ours 🙂

Thanks to both of you. It has given me the results I need. I managed to do the same with the header just after I posted this.
