# Remove white background

 * Hello all,
 * I’m annoyed to be asking such a basic question but when my images are loading
   on [http://www.razorpig.com](http://www.razorpig.com) there are large areas of
   white space. I’d like this to be grey to match the rest of the site. I’ve tried
   targeting every element I can think of (.envira-gallery-wrap, body, html, article,.
   entry-content, site-content, .content-area, .site-main…) but the ugly white blocks
   are still appearing.

 * Hi Noebie, no I haven’t resolved it yet. Just to clarify – once all the images
   have loaded properly the page looks fine, but as there are quite a few images
   on each page it can take some time on slower connections (like mine). During 
   this load time, the background is white. If your connection is fast you may only
   notice it for a split second. Ideally I’d like the images to load over a grey
   background, not a white one.

 * I see now. Sorry I misunderstood that this was “when images are loading” (even
   though you wrote that).

 * I’m just using the default Twenty Fifteen theme…with the Envira gallery plugin

 * It might be worth giving the folks who created the plugin a shout. It may be 
   something they’ve seen before.
 * Not sure if there’s a way to do it with CSS, since it’s not actually part of 
   the page, but more an absence while the images load. Otherwise it would already
   be the same as the background color.
 * Envira does have a CSS Addon, but not sure if it would help.
