Remove URLs in Forum Post

  • Would appreciate any assistance to delete the URLs in the following post which was just entered last night: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/no-widget-drag-and-drop?

This was only put in at the suggestion of the moderator, but I doubt that will help figure the problem solution and am concerned about exposing sites. I had no idea I could not edit my posts after the fact and that the topic would be shown on Google search results.

    Appreciate all and any help.

    Thank you.

It is not the general policy to edit or delete forum posts. When a post is made and people contribute answers to an issue, that then becomes part of the community resource for others to benefit from. Deleting posts removes this added value. In extreme circumstances, the moderation team might be persuaded to remove sensitive information but. generally, your best course of action is not to publish anything that you wouldn’t want to be public. I’m sorry but this is not an extreme case.

I don’t need the post deleted, just the URLs removed, which I consider to be sensitive information. These site links add no benefit to anyone trying to figure out the solution to the problem.

Please reconsider and just remove the URLs I posted (which was only done at the request of the moderator).

    Thanking you in advance!

To debug issues, we need to see them working (or breaking). This usually requires passing over a link to the site, or a link to the code of the site.

    Why is your case extreme?

Sorry but no. Your site’s url appearing in Google is not an extreme case.
