you can use transient options.. by i will advice make a backup .. all 3 new options are experimental and may create problems. SO BACKUP first and test it out.

Transient option are actually built in WordPress cache system,Which helps in speeding your site,It stores the requested data of WordPress Database for a time period so that it can be used if someone requests the same data in that time period.
Can I delete Transient options?
Yes,you can delete Transient options.This will not have any affect on your database.
What if I Delete them?
As we said earlier you will not loose anything,WordPress will rebuild the cache if it doesn’t exists.
If you are taking backup of your database,you may prefer to delete all the transient options as it will reduce the size of your Database backup.
