Remove Titles & white space (1 post)

    I want to Remove Titles from all my Pages and remove the white space the title removal leaves behind (particularly on the static "Home" page with with two columns). I'm reading it all depends on the theme you are using. Not all themes use the same IDs or Classes on their HTML elements. You might need to use a different one instead of ".entry-title" like in the code snipits I found below. Anybody already successfully achieve this? I prefer not using a plugin for something that could be easily achieved modifying the CSS. "Title Toggler" works fine but I want to reduce my use of plugin dependence.

    .page h1.entry-title {display:none;}

    .content-area, .content-sidebar {padding-top: 40px;}
