[Resolved] Remove title and description Twenty Eleven

    Hi, i’m working on a child theme for Twenty Eleven and have run into some trouble.

    My goal is to be able to hide the title and description and use the header image only, I would love to be able to achieve this without breaking the responsiveness on resize and at the same time retaining Twenty Elevens SEO friendliness but I feel kind of stuck on the puzzle here.

    All your help and ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    /Victor

    Why not hide the title and description using CSS in your child theme?

    It seems to brake the theme on iPhone? I might do it wrong / lack the skill to avoid it. I simply used display none on the title and description but that ends up in a mess on small displays.

    Don’t use display:none. That will also “hide” it from Google. Use something like:

    #branding hgroup{
    position: absolute;
    top:-9999px;
    left:-9999px;
    }

    Thank you! That solved it perfectly.
