Can i directly modify the DB?
Hi,
You just need to re-adjust the rate limiting rule value that throttled this IP so it doesn’t get throttled again.
Thanks.

I changed the value and i also set “verified google crawlers have unlimited access” (it was a google crawler) but the throttling rule is still there after three days. I have a 2 hour blocking at most.

Sorry but what do you mean by “the throttling rule is still there”? please share a screenshot showing “Wordfence > Blocking => Blocked IPs => IPs throttled for accessing the site too frequently” showing this IP.
Thanks.
So, it seems you set aggressive settings for “If a crawler’s page views exceed” rule 2 days ago, then when you adjusted its value, everything is working fine now, no Google crawlers IPs are getting throttled for more than 2 days.
Also, for “If a crawler’s pages not found (404s) exceed” rule, it seems that since yesterday this rule doesn’t throttle any Google crawler IP.
You can keep watching this page and re-adjust the rate limiting rules if needed.
Thanks.

Ok i get it now, these are NOT currently in effect! It’s some kind of log. I think you should somewhat clarify this in the page then. Thank you for your prompt support.
