# Remove the old "link" post type

 * Many moons ago WP had “Links” along with posts and pages, used for the Blogroll
   etc. A site that originally had that function doesn’t lose it when upgrading 
   to a newer version of WP that no longer has it.
 * If it’s no longer being used, is there a way to remove it?

 * Hello doubleedesign,
    To remove “WP had “Links” just edit the “Link Manager Enabled”
   field from 1 to 0 in /wp-admin/options.php in admin dashboard or through any 
   database manager.
