    Hi everyone,

    I am using Customizr-child theme right now and in WP, I went to Appearance > Editor to edit Customizr-child's style.css.

    I added the following code into style.css to remove the zoom effect:

    /* hide the circular zoom, keep link */
    .home .round-div {
    border-color: transparent;
    }

    However, the images still have the zoom effect. My child theme is installed correctly because I also have the code snippet to move the front page slider call-to-action button around, which you can see.

    My website is: http://www.peterhsiao.com

    Thanks so much guys!

    What happens when you fill the images? I suspect Nikeo wrote the code so that the examples always zoom, but when you put real images there it will start picking up your CSS.

    I'll put one right now and update!

    Edit:

    I just added a feature image, but unfortunately, the zoom effect is still in place.

    When I first initially inserted the code snippet, it was working yesterday. Then all of a sudden, it stopped working. I did not make any changes to the code at all.

    What happens if you add all three?

    And have you tried
    border-color: transparent !important;
    (Not good css practice, but sometimes fixes intractable problems.)

    It worked after adding all 3. Turns out the problem was because I'm supposed to use the posts code instead, which leads me to my question:

    Why did the posts code work and not the front page? The zoom effect is on my front page, so it should be the front page code that works and not the posts code... Really weird.......

    Could you explain what you mean by "the posts code"?

    Sure, if you go to the code snippet for removing the zoom effect, there's 3 different types of codes: removing zoom effect in 1.) front page, 2.) in posts, and 3.) if front page is also blog.

    I thought the 1st code (Remove the Zoom effect (Front Page)) was supposed to be the one that worked for me, but it was actually the second code (Remove the Zoom effect (Posts)). I find this weird because my front page isn't a blog.

    My question is: why didn't the 1st code work for me but the 2nd?
