    If I understand you correctly, you’d like to remove the text that appears on the slide as you hover on the image.

    Just looking at the code that’s here in the repository (without testing the solution), you could try copying loop-slider.php file into a child theme and make your modifications from there. Delete this chunck of code:

    <div class="entry-container">
     <h2 class="entry-title"><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" title="<?php the_title_attribute(); ?>" rel="bookmark"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h2>
     <div class="entry-summary">
      <?php the_excerpt(); ?>
      <div class="clear"></div>
     </div><!-- .entry-summary -->
    </div><!-- .entry-container -->

    This should remove the text from the slider.
