• Hi, I can’t disable the take action botton.
I’ve got the astra starter sites theme; I’ve click the “hide last item” – button in “customizing header”. There it disappear, but it always appear in the menu in the pages and in the mobile menu, too. I’ve purged the caches, but it doesn’t resolve.
    Thank you in advance,
    Roberta

  • Hi @wordpressorg66,

Did you want to disable the button on both desktop and mobile or only on mobile? And also, do you have any site URL we can check?

    Kind regards,
    Herman 🙂

Hi Herman: yes, I want to disable it both on dektop and mobile. I haven’t published the site because of this inconvient (and I have also to work on two photo and header to make them mobile – friendly), but I’ve just published the contact page for you https://robertacosti.it/contact/
    Kind regards,
    Roberta

    Hi @wordpressorg66,

You can do that by simply pick None on the Last Item in Menu dropdown and it will hide the button on desktop and mobile.

I hope that will help. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further queries.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 🙂

    Hi Herman,
as I have written 6 days ago “I’ve click the “hide last item” – button in “customizing header”. There it disappear, but it always appear in the menu in the pages and in the mobile menu, too. I’ve purged the caches, but it doesn’t resolve”

I’m afraid, but simple pick none on the last item simple doesn’t work.

    What I can do?

    Kind regards
    Roberta

    Hi @wordpressorg66,

The Hide Last Item in Menu on Mobile checkbox will hide whatever you pick from the Last Item in Menu dropdown on mobile and pick None on the dropdown will hide it on both desktop and mobile.

If it doesn’t work well for you, that means there’s something else causes the issue. Please try to deactivate all the installed plugins temporarily. If it solves the issue, then please reactivate the plugins one by one to see which plugin is causing the problem.

You might also consider reaching out to us through our Support Portal where you can share your site conveniently and share your site login safely, so we can take a look at this further. Please just mention about this topic so we can monitor them both.

    Hi Roberta,

I hope you found a solution to your problem by now. This is more for anyone else who may have a similar issue:

I also had an issue with the ‘Take Action’ button with the Astra theme ‘Mountain’. I was able to delete it by going to Appearance-> Widgets and then clicking ‘Manage with Live Preview’ at the top. From there, I was able to completely remove the ‘Take Action’ button, rather than just disable it.

    Cheers,
    Paul

    Hi @pfigdev,

It looks like you were using Widget as the Last Item in Menu. As my response above, picking None on the dropdown will give you nothing on both desktop and mobile.

    Anyway, thanks for sharing.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 🙂

I have not the pro version and the options settings recomended here are not available in the free version.

There is no last item in menus or anything else.

I can find the settings for the Take Action button, but absolutely no chance for removing it. Not in mobile and not in desctop.

Do I need the pro version to remove the take action button?

Can I change the colors and color beheavior of the menu in pro?

There are settings for menu color in the free version but they are not applied after I changed them.

    Greetings

    Ralf

    Hi @ralf_st,

In my previous reply, I was not talking about the feature that available only on the Astra Pro plugin. It is available also on the Astra theme. Besides, discussing anything related to the Pro version is not allowed in the forum.

Anyway, regarding your query, please open your own topic. This is the reason why you need to.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 🙂

You can remove it in Customize -> Header Builder -> then remove the button at the bottom of the page by clicking on X beside the button widget.
