REmove Tag Links

    Does anyone happen to know offhand a quick fix to remove links in tags? We want users to be able to search, but we have had complaints about the usefulness of the tags populated in the members directory. We want to remove the links from everything in a user search result (or all members directory) except for the link itself and things like friend and message. Any ideas on where I could start looking? Thanks in advance!

    Could you detail which tag links you wish to remove? Probably a few examples might help.

    Hello Andrea,

    The links that I’m looking to remove are some of the custom fields collected in my users’ registraion process. BP allows you to create custom fields in addition to the basics. These are currently populating in my member directory under the username and to the right of the user’s profile picture. Normally, you can click these and it will find all users on the site which match that value. I would like to remove these links in the members’ directory. I’m sorry I’m unable to provide a screenshot or URL at this moment, but does that get you in the general direction I’m trying to go?
