It was added because few users wanted to style the date.

Latest update messed up everything. Now have a linebreak and colour is wrong. I will either have to rollback somehow or remove the plugin.
I also use the shortcut in the headings. Since the update I get a line break in the headlines and in the middle of the text. I don’t find the CSS and any formatting at this point helpful and would like to have the styling optional only. So far I was satisfied with the plugin, but with the update it became useless.

Thank you @imtiazrayhan Your plugin helps me a lot. If I had one more wish, it would be to calculate a future date. For example today +x days or month plus 1.
