 * `<li><a> class="selected"<?php endif; ?> href="<?php echo site_url( '?p=status');?
   >" title="<?php _e( 'Status Update', 'p2' ); ?>"><?php _e( 'Status Update', '
   p2' ); ?></a></li>`
 * Just remove that and you’re good to go.
