remove space below and above image

  • Hi wordpress geeks.

    How do I remove the annoying space below and above images?

    In other words, where in the inbuild wordpress text-editor do I place the necessary code to make this happen?

    Image has been inserted through the inbuild text-editor.

    Best regards

    spaces around images are often set in style.css of the corresponding theme;

    try using the custom css for the image, under ‘advanced settings’ when you edit the image in the post:

    otherwise you might need to edit style.css of your theme;
    try using a browser inspection tool (‘right-click’-‘inspect element’ or similar) to find where the formatting comes from;
    or post a link to your site for more suggestions..

    If you are not familiar with CSS, try adding the following to your img tag:

    padding-top: -10px; padding-bottom: -10px;

    As in `<img src=”” style=”padding-top: -10px; padding-bottom: -10px;”>

    Play a little with the number of pixels until the image looks correctly positioned.
