Remove Social Connect buttons (8 posts)

Hi. I have just updated my plugins and suddenly all my pages have social connect buttons I cannot remove. This is infuriating!

Can anyone advise (in the simplest possible terms) how I can remove these buttons from my main (and all pages)?

    Thanks,
    Heath

Looks like that plugin is no longer supported - see the note here:

Can you deactivate or delete it? If not via the Dashboard, you should be able to delete it using FTP or Cpanel access to your plugins folder.

Thank you. I have deactivated and deleted and still the buttons remain :(

Hmm, maybe they're from someplace else - try deactivating all plugins and see if they disappear. If not, see if changing themes (temporarily) gets rid of them.

Tried that. Nothing. Still there :( this is so frustrating!

Trying a new theme removes them but loses everything else!

In that case, sounds like they are part of the theme?

Possibly. But that doesn't help me. I do not know how to remove it. I didn't update the Vantage theme though?

Just looked more closely at your site - looks like you are using a different "vantage" theme - not the one from the repository on this site.

Since it looks like this is a theme issue, and we don't have access to commercial themes, I'd suggest you check with the developers of your theme.
