# Remove slug from category

 * Hello,
 * I have a custom post type with category, and i want to remove the slug from my
   category link. I have tried using this [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-remove-cpt-slug-from-url/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-remove-cpt-slug-from-url/),
   i changed ‘race’ and didn’t change the ‘gp_’. Is there any other way to do it?
