Ok so I’ve been having some problems after doing the “Custome Page” project.

I’ve been able to assign the custome page template to my page however I’m getting some errors on the page itself now.

I’m using the Arthemia Premium theme and have copied the “Page.php” file like most articles have suggested. I than removed the “sidebar” portion of the php file and adjusted my table to the width I want it.

I’m getting a bunch of random text above and in my page it self now. Stuff like:

    {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\cocoartf1038\cocoasubrtf110 {\fonttbl\f0\fmodern\fcharset0 Courier;} {\colortbl;\red255\green255\blue255;} \margl1440\margr1440\vieww9000\viewh8400\viewkind0 \deftab720 \pard\pardeftab720\ql\qnatural \f0\fs24 \cf0 \ \

as well as a whole wack load of “\\” (back slashes)

Here is a direct link to the page.

I’d like to get this resolved as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Looks like RTF (Rich Text Format), but I haven’t got a clue what generates this. Maybe a plugin?

Actually that might make sense. I was using Text Edit on my mac when I uploaded the file and just changed the extension to .php after I had saved it.

I will try throwing it in dreamweaver and SAVING it as a .php instead.

    That’s why I use Coda 😉

WOW! Great observation pboosten. That was EXACTLY it!

Thanks a bunch! Definatly was starting to get annoyed with the issue haha!

I’m going to download Coda right now. I don’t mind using DW but I love just a simple RAW editing program like Notepad for windows.
