# remove 'show thumbnail' link text

 * I have placed a basic slideshow on my home page and when I view the page it shows
   a link text [show thumbnail] next to it.
    In the gallery settings under slideshow
   I have ticked the box to say No to ‘show thumbnail’ link but it is still showing??
 * Please can someone help me?

   you put the URL to the live page with the link?
    And, have you tried to clear
   your cache?

   [@tizz](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tizz/) suggested, this is most likely
   a cache issue.
 * I would recommend clearing the image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous
   first … and then if that doesn’t work clear your browser caches, too.
