Remove shopping cart and Search icons from specific menus

    Hello,

    The shopping cart and search icon are showing up in any menu that is created. I only need it to show in the Main navigation menu and footer. Currently it is showing in a sidebar product category menu I created and an Affiliates menu I created in the footer widget. How do I remove it and stop it from happening to any new menus?

    Sounds like a theme feature – WC itself does not do this.

    what if the theme is woocommerce’s default storefront?

    then can you tell us how to get rid of the cart icon and $0.00 in the main menu?

    like thousands of others i have been searching and trying many, many workarounds to no avail

    it seems like this should be just a standard customization in storefront or any of your themes,
    ‘don’t show the cart until something is added to it: check here x’

    this would gain you influence and many friends
