  • Change your admin username right away.

    Even if they remove it, there is a possibility someone malicious already has it.

    If your password really is strong you may be okay but there have been exploits, one just last month, where the password was not necessary.

    Passwords (like email addresses) do get deleted when found. That one was sorted out by another moderator.

    Now THAT’S not good. The code should be user ID independent and you can always use another ID and move the posts and comments to that user ID.

    Yes, it’s true that with a good password you have nothing to worry about and no the likelyhood of an exploit that was just patched being used doesn’t come into play here. Upgrade your code.
