I think it would be a good idea to deregister scripts when a user user disables cookies. Something like a setting to disable scripts added to add to header section for example

  • I’ve been playing with some of the big site cookie managers and their approach to this is usually to request that the user reload the page – which will do that by simply not including the scripts on that load??

    Hi there,

Thanks for your comments. Our plugin manage the scripts defined in the plugin settings, but doesn’t touch the rest of the scripts hardcoded / loaded from other plugins. Once the user disable the cookies from GDPR popup, the code will remove the cookies, and reload the page to clear the cookie sessions.
Once the user accept the cookies, the scripts defined in the settings will be loaded by JavaScript (you don’t find them in the view-source, but in the developer console are visible and working).

I hope this makes sense to you.
