 * Hello, newbie warning. I’d like to remove the rss functionality from my sidebar.
   Does anyone know how to do this? I’ve searched and didn’t see an answer comprehendible
   to me.

 * You don’t remove the “functionality” You remove the link by editing your sidebar.
   php file. If using widgets – remove the widget.
