• Hi,

    Great theme, full screen/responsive all the way! thanks!
    CSS and html skills good. php skills only enough to make me dangerous, but unafraid. Have child theme.

    Just want to eliminate right sidebar on certain pages and let main content expand all the way to the right. I’ve tried different ways, but no success. Appreciate any help…

    thnx!

    phil

    Hello Phil,

    The theme is packaged with a full width template which eliminates the right sidebar on per page basis – is that not working for you?

    My apologies for getting distracted and leaving a detail out. Yes sir, it does work. In my case, however, content area does not expand all the way to the right for larger screen sizes.

    I’m working with a 22 inch screen. All my regular pages work fine, from 24 inch down to smallest mobile. But with the full width template, page falls short of right side from about 1400px wide and up. At 22 inch resolution there is a gap of approximately 280px.

    thnx, Zulfikar 🙂

    perhaps if i changed the following from 915px to 1180px?

    `.site-content .entry-header, .site-content .entry-content, .site-content .entry-summary, .site-content .entry-meta, .page-content {
    max-width: 1180px;}’

    That seems to work, perhaps it breaks the responsiveness, but it seems to work ok on resizing.
    or, more likely, this is a sloppy way to solve the issue…

    Sorry but I don’t have a large screen to test on.

    I’d recommend creating a child theme and adjust the values to meet your screen resolution needs.
