# Remove recent posts from main layout

 * How do I go about removing the “recent post” from the main page of my layout,
   as I do not want one there? I know it is possible as I managed to stumble into
   achieving it a few days ago but somehow triggered its return. It shows up directly
   underneath the “front page boxes”, for reference. (loudexposure.com)
 * I do have the slider activated and if I swap out “recent posts” to “static page”
   in an attempt to fix the pesky problem; I lose said slider and its functionality.
   Please advise?

 * 1) Please set static front page: [https://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page](https://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page)
 * 2) Go to:
    `Appearance -> Customize -> Slider -> General -> Visibility`
 * And set “Visibility” to “Front Page”.
