# Remove Quantity Label

 * I found the setting in inventory to set the product to “sold individually”, but
   for some reason it only removed the quanity field, it left the label “Quantity”.
   I would have expected it to remove that as well.
 * Any idea why this happened or if there is somewhere else I need to change to 
   remove that?

 * I have another question concerning this. With checking that the product is sold
   individually, does that mean they can only add one to the cart at a time, or 
   that they can only purchase one per order.
 * I ask because the only reason I chose “sold individually” is because I don’t 
   want the quantity box to appear.
 * The product is name blocks. I have a plugin that counts the number of characters
   they input in the text box and multiplies it by the price. With the quantity 
   box, if they think they need to input the number of blocks there, then it will
   double the price.
 * These are blocks, each block with a letter on them. People will buy their baby’s
   entire name. I have a plugin that counts the number of characters that multiplies
   it by the cost.
 * I can solve that by removing the quantity box with the sold individually, but
   if they have two different names they want to buy for, will this keep them from
   coming back and inputting another name?
 * If so, is there a way to get rid of the quantity box without the “sold individually”
   option? Is visibility: hidden the best way to go?

 * I see “tm-extra-product-options” in the source. Not sure if this is a plugin 
   or the theme but its not WC core.
 * Sold individually will prevent a user buying the product twice, regardless of
   the options they choose.

 * Thanks Mike. Yes, that is a separate plugin. So I will look for that label somewhere.
   So is CSS the best option to hide the quantity field?

 * In your case, probably yes. But then that prevents users buying 2 sets of a single
   name – not sure if thats beneficial?
