Remove product name next to quantity field on single product page

I have just discovered that Woocommerce is now displaying the whole product title next to the quantity selector on single product pages. This messes up the whole layout of the page. How can I remove the extra product title now being displayed? Very mysterious… I have added a link to a single product for your information.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

I understand that your product titles are showing twice on the page, one of them being near the quantity selector. By default, WooCommerce doesn’t show the product title like this: cld.wthms.co/N1s3HL

When inspecting the page, it looks like this is the screen-reader-text coming through. Screen-reader-text should not be visible on the front end but still made available for use. You’ll want to reach out to your theme author to see if they can adjust this in the CSS.

Thanks for your reply. It never used to be like this until the last Woocommerce update. Unfortunately, this theme is no longer being supported and I am in the process of switching to a new theme (sigh!). Thanks for your help, though.

Oh, that’s a bummer! The theme might be incompatible with the latest update, which is why products started popping up.

While it can be quite annoying to have to switch themes, it is recommended that you be using a theme that is being actively developed and maintained – to avoid this type of issues in the future. So, in the long run, switching your theme is going to end up being a good thing.
