Support » Theme: Fashionistas » Remove 'Previous Articles' and Add Slider

  • I’m using the Fashionistas theme for my self-hosted blog

    So far I’ve had almost no trouble customizing the look but I’ve ran into two problems I’m hoping to get solved.

    When a blog post is open, at the bottom of the post is an area that says “Previous articles”. Is it possible to remove this area? I already have a “Related Posts” widget so I feel redundant with the Previous Articles.

    My other question is how I can feature a slider of posts below the header but above my posts, as seen on the attached screenshot using the same theme. I’ve looked high and low for how to add one but I’m at a loss!

    I’d be grateful for any help I can get. Thank you!

  • @hannahrup,

    I had success with info from another post that suggested the following css code (I’m using a child theme):

    .site-content .post-navigation {
        display: none;

    Here’s the link to the entire thread/post: Check it out.

    Hope this helps,

    Excellent! Thank you so much, ukgal86. That solved one problem. 🙂

    Any idea how to get add a popular post slideshow widget to my theme? Sorry if I’m calling it the wrong name, I don’t actually know the right term but I was hoping someone would correct me if I was wrong.

    Hi Han

    can you please create a new topic/thread for new discussion? lets keep a topi a thread.

    @maruti Mohanty That was a question I originally asked on this thread and it went unanswered. I’m still searching for a solution!
