    Hello,

I was working with a SEO partner and he set up Yoast Premium. I don’t work with him any more and I’d like to come back to the free version without loosing my pages / articles metadata.
How can I do? (In my dashboard, it’s written Yoast Premium : Installed / Not activated). Is it enough?

    Tx for your help,
    Nice day

If it shows as Installed & Not Activated, this means that the premium version is still working, it’s just that you are ineligible to receive updates for the premium version of the plugin without an active subscription.

If you would like to revert back to the free version, what you can do is to make sure that the premium plugin is up-to-date, and then deactivate it in the plugins menu. You can then go ahead and re-install the free version and activate it — https://kb.yoast.com/kb/installation-guide-for-wordpress-seo/

Please do note that you will lose access to features such as multiple focus keywords, redirects, internal link, and all other features that are specific to the premium version.

OK thanks for your answer Michael. All done 🙂
