Support » Plugin: Premium Addons for Elementor » Remove “Premium Trustpilot Reviews widget” banner on every admin page.

Premium Trustpilot Reviews widget in now available in Premium Addons Pro. Check it out now!

This banner shows on every back end admin page. No matter how many times I close it or click through, it still loads on every page.

Is there any way to remove it please? I don’t appreciate what amounts to an advertising land-grab in the back end of my website.

If that banner is showing up in all of the admin pages and cannot be dismissed then that is a violation of the plugin guidelines.

@leap13 @rimoun Care to address this before it is reported? Bugs happen but if I have to install this plugin to confirm then that could be awkward.

    Hi @crazyd943,

Hope you’re doing well today 🙂

I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but everything seems to be working fine. I’ve tried to reproduce the issue, but once you dismiss the banner, it doesn’t show again.

So, I suspect there’s an error coming from a conflict with one of the installed plugins. Could you please provide a screenshot after clicking the dismiss button for the console log? You can find that by right-click on your page, click Inspect Elementor, then navigate to Console tab. It would be great if you could try again with all plugins deactivated except Elementor and Premium Addons.

@jdembowski We always make a test on any banner we add to make sure it’s dismissible. We will never force our users to see a banner without being able to hide it 🙂

    Hi @leap13

Thanks for getting back to me.

Here is the console addition after closing the banner: https://ibb.co/xSJdHLb

The banner is still present after reloading the page.

The banner is not present on the staging site after deactivating and reactivating all plugins simultaneously. It’s not really practical to do that on the production site however.

Deactivating one at a time, the only plugin that stops the banner appearing when deactivated is PA.

    Hi @crazyd943

I’m so sorry, but I’m not sure if I totally understand. May I ask did you try to dismiss the banner on your staging site while you have all plugins deactivated except Elementor and Premium Addons?

We didn’t hear back from you, so please let us know if you still have the issue on your end.

    Good morning @leap13

Yes on the staging site with no other plugins active the banner can be dismissed.

However working the other way around disabling one at a time, there is no single plugin which when disabled resolves the issue.

    Hello @crazyd943

Hope you’re doing well today 🙂

Well, may I ask do you have the issue on your staging site when the same plugins – as on the live site – are active?

Sound weird. Well, it seems that it’s more related to the code related to banner dismiss. Our devs team would be glad to check this from your end, so please just send us a message on our website from here.

    Regards
