  • You’ll need to go into the footer.php file and remove te blocks of code that have powered by WordPress and the theme developer info.

This requires editing a core PHP file that will be overwritten if the theme is updated. For that reason you should use a child theme.

I can’t seem to find it. I went to “appearance”—-“editor” and scrolled down to the footer and didn’t find it. I’m working on a child theme
    my site is site theme:””

    Fixed it great
    thank you

    I have another question:

how can I move the followers from my old blog in to my new self-hosted blog. I don’t have many but Is it possible? can I have followers on
    (this is my site
Do I erase my old sight?

Yes it is possible to have them transferred. Go to the forums and ask them to do that for you. You will need to have the jetpack plugin installed.

    I will try that thanks
