    how do i remove "powered by wordpress" and "designed by wpshower" from the bottom of the site
    the theme is "sight"

    You'll need to go into the footer.php file and remove te blocks of code that have powered by WordPress and the theme developer info.

    This requires editing a core PHP file that will be overwritten if the theme is updated. For that reason you should use a child theme.

    I can't seem to find it. I went to "appearance"----"editor" and scrolled down to the footer and didn't find it. I'm working on a child theme
    my site is site theme:"doshasoul.com"

    I have another question:

    how can I move the followers from my old blog in wordpress.com to my new self-hosted blog. I don't have many but Is it possible? can I have followers on wordpress.org?
    (this is my site doshasoul.com)
    Do I erase my old sight?

    Yes it is possible to have them transferred. Go to the WordPress.com forums and ask them to do that for you. You will need to have the jetpack plugin installed.
