Remove post thumbnail

I want to post an image with the title on the top. The only way I can do this is the standard post template. The only problem is that there is a thumbnail of the image to the right of the title. I’ve been looking everywhere to remove it but nothing works for me, or I’m just too stupid to figure out how to properly remove it. My front page is set to latest posts.
