 * What is the use-case for wanting to hide the version numbers of your WordPress
   plugins, and from which areas of WordPress? Wordfence doesn’t currently offer
   this option.

 * Hiding plugin versions may slow _some_ attackers down but wouldn’t stop a determined
   attempt to access your site. Most plugins/themes are identifiable by their public
   components like JS and CSS files, or content in the site’s HTML that are necessary
   for them to work.
 * We generally recommend that security through obscurity measures are less important
   for your site’s security than strong passwords/2FA, and identifying the source/
   type/intent of requests that are being made – as Wordfence does.
