What do you mean by “to display as before”? Are you using a custom template?

YARPP version 4 was intended for you to just upgrade and for it to just work in most cases.

Thanks for the reply Mitcho, and sorry for being unclear about my question. This is the case:

I have YARPP installed and have added the PHP in my theme (below post), it works as intended 🙂

I was about to upgrade to version 4, but this line from the changelog no PHP required — just visit the settings page made me unsure: should I remove my old YARPP PHP from the theme or will it still work as before?

No no no, YARPP will work just as it used to for your purposes. It should respect your choice to not display automatically, and the code you added will still work.

The only difference is that it will wrap its output in a div. In most cases this is not a problem.

Please give it a try and let me know how it works for you.

Thanks Mitcho, it worked just fine 🙂
