    Hi,

I’ve built a specific role below Administrator and Editor permission. For this specific role I would like it to be able to edit user but not to be able to edit administrator and editor.

Is there a way to do that ?

I know that the creator of this plugin ask to go to the a paid support. I agree with that but before paying anything I would like to know if it’s just possible. Imagine I pay and at the end the answer is : “It’s not possible” 🙂

    Thanks.

    Best regards,

    Clement

  • Yes, it is definitely possible. It’d take a little bit of custom code, but I could write it.

Thanks for your quick answer !

Another question before going to the paid support :

Is it possible to give acces to a specific plugin only for a role ? To be more precise I want that role to be able to access to “WP email user” plugin. I’m not sure it’s on you or on “WP email user” support to answer that… ?

That actually depends on the WP Email User plugin. Each plugin must decide to either provide custom capabilities or use existing core capabilities. Most plugin authors choose the latter option and stick to something like manage_options.
